The tiny box of comfort

The tiny box of comfort

The first time you crawl
into the belly of the black dog,
the first time you see the world
sliding away from you

Perched at the edge
of the existential void

Utterly solitary

Panic is a strange sensation

There are others like it -
missing the last step,
the hypnic jerk before sleep,
an electric shock

Identify the signs
and work through the outcomes

You have to learn to live as you go

looking

for the tiny box of comfort

I FOUND this piece in Anna Spargo-Ryan’s 'A Kind of Magic'.

Dream intentionally - while you're awake
