Inspiration

I’ve just never had that much confidence
in inspiration.

I don’t trust it to deliver.

I prefer to think that,
if you sit down and work
and put in the hours,
regardless how frustrating it may be,
in the end things come.

Things cannot not come.

I mentioned last week that a friend and former colleague sent me a message a few days ago. The message referred to a recent Nick Cave podcast. I replied to the message and mentioned I have a copy of Cave’s book - Faith, Hope and Carnage. I FOUND the piece above in Faith, Hope and Carnage.
