Welcome
Thanks for subscribing and for reading my work.
As with all art the question isn’t what you look at, but what you see.
'Dream intentionally – while you’re awake' began as an exercise in writing-craft: to publish a short, reflective, fragmentary piece each week. Over time, it has grown into a practice of literary life-writing — capturing lives, moments, and voices in fragments of prose and verse. Some pieces are self-reflective, some drawn from others, and some composted from texts or quotations, all shaped to allow a life to appear.
My forte is finding fragments of nonfiction and refashioning them into something fresh. I hope these fragments resonate on first read, and perhaps reveal something new on a second.
The work is fragmentary, impressionistic, and attentive to the human inner life. It is a practice rather than a machine: slow, studious, considered, and humane.
Each Wednesday at 9AM, a new fragment will appear in your inbox — a small life-portrait, a thought, a voice, or an observation, arriving like a note from a companion in reflection.
Until then, dream intentionally —while you’re awake.
